Yeast Infection In Pregnancy – Causes & Solutions

When we then eat sugary foods after eating lots of fatty foods, this sugar passes into our blood but cannot transport out to cells because the fat prevents it from doing so. When this happens the Candida organism has to help bring down sugar levels by eating and thus multiplying. When this has to happen all the time it causes a yeast infection and is the reason why many people feel very run down and miserable. All that sugar, instead of going to your cells to nourish them is being chomped on by that organism, of course to help bring your sugar levels down, but still you are losing out.
In terms of pregnancy, it might be that you end up eating more food and more fatty foods as your appetite gets bigger and you start putting on weight. Or you may find yourself drawn to more sugary refined foods, which added to an already too much fat diet, can have disastrous effects. Overcoming the yeast infection then becomes simply a matter of being aware of what you are eating and doesn’t require medication.
Choosing holistic approaches to this type of problem will not only cure the underlying cause of it but also prevent it coming back. Even if you aren’t pregnant, medication and lotions only result in treating symptoms and most women who use this method end up with a recurring yeast problem. If you do decide to go with medications for relief (and can get some prescribed by a Doctor that are safe for pregnancy) it is important to treat this as only one aspect of overcoming the problem. Dietary changes also need to be considered for the sake of your health and to prevent further issues.
