When you constantly have a high blood sugar level that needs to be resolved constantly by Candida, then this usually results in a yeast infection as Candida overgrows from having to deal with so much sugar constantly.

A yeast infection comes under the infection vaginitis. Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina and the more common form is a vaginal yeast infection. Up to 75% of women or more suffer from some form of vaginitis in their life and it can be causes by a number of different things.

Vulvitis is another female problem that is an inflammation of the external genital organs i.e. the vulva. The vulva includes the clitoris, labia and the entrance to the vagina. This can be caused by a number of different infections just like vulvitis is. The vulva is often inflamed when one has a yeast infection of vaginitis so this type of problem can also be referred to as vulvovaginitis.

These types of conditions are not considered sexually transmitted infections because often women experience them without any sexual activity whatsoever. There are many causes to them, but generally if you have a yeast problem it could potentially be a result of your diet. If you have a high fat diet then try going on a low fat diet to see how this affects it and you issue.

If you are unsure about what you may have but know something is wrong, make sure you see a Doctor. There are over the counter prescriptions for these issues but it is worth seeking medical advice if you have never experienced one before and are not 100% sure that it is what you have.
